The diagnosis of urosepsis is based on clinical and laboratory manifestations of sepsis and the presence of purulent-inflammatory processes in the kidneys and urinary tract. Urosepsis is characterized by a rapid increase in the blood content of nitrogenous toxins (urea, creatinine), leukocyturia, bacteriuria, cylindruria. In the absence of visible causes of urosepsis, its differential diagnosis with other types of a is very difficult; a carefully collected anamnesis is of great help. More about sepsis here
